Information is recorded in many different ways and not all information will suit all types of graph. Here are some recording styles we are looking at in this unit.

Carroll Diagrams

Ever hear about a story of a rabbit being chased by a little girl called Alice?  Yes, that story is called 'Alice in Wonderland' and was written by Lewis Carroll.  Did you know that not only was he a very talented writer, but he was an amazing Mathematician?  He invented our first data system, the Carroll Diagram.

A Carroll diagram also called Lewis Carroll's square, is a two-way table is a diagram used for grouping things in a yes/no fashion.
